You shouldn’t real be busy.
It seems obvious but it’s not.
Feels like most of use live in a ‘busy-to-appear-productive” culture.
For most of my life I’ve been busy. Many things in the air at the same time. I’m starting to see that real-time constraints can help you find what’s most important to you.
Now I realize that I have a lot of control over my life. If I wanted to stop or start doing something bad enough, I know that over time I can get there.
Regardless of the choices that we make we have to accept the consciousness of them. That means both the good and the bad.
Don’t get me wrong I still get a lot of work done. I’m just never busy, because I look at my work in a different way.
I’m trying to take more ownership of the things that I have to do because I realize that my life is my choice.
I believe that you can do the same.
What busy work are you going to try to avoid?
